Salmonella testing for poultry farms
Salmonellosis is a disease caused by enterobacteria of the genus Salmonella. Lsalmonella, found mainly in poultry digestive tracts, can be found in farm environments, contaminating meat and eggs and causing food poisoning.
Since 1997, Sodibox has developed a complete range of sterile sampling devices, fully adapted to the regulations in force in the various member states of the European Union for monitoring certain pathogenic species in poultry production environments. All stages of the industry are concerned, from breeding farms and hatcheries, to breeding animals for egg consumption and meat production for Gallus gallus and turkey.
Sodibox, with its long experience in the design and manufacture of sterile sampling devices, offers a wide range of :
– rags for hand sampling of dust on surfaces in livestock buildings,
– Sterisox® for under-boot sampling, to collect faecal matter for analysis.
Once the samples have been taken, they are transported to the laboratories and analyzed using official methods.
Transport packaging for biological samples
Transporting biological samples is a key phase in the veterinary analysis process.
Sodibox designs and manufactures its range of :
– watertight bags,
– absorbent,
– isothermal cases and boxes,
for transporting a wide range of samples (blood tubes, swabs, placenta, shellfish, various samples)
in the best conditions, either at room temperature, refrigerated or frozen, in compliance with ADR regulations (Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), and specifically packing instruction P650 n°UN3373.
